Done with Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz HD? SEGA are bringing the original Monkey Ball offerings to modern day console and PC in October with the release of Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania. And all the details and release dates you will ever need have now been unveiled.

Coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC on October 5th 2021, Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania is the modern HD remaster of the original three Super Monkey Ball games. Today the worlds included have been unveiled via the new ‘Wondrous Worlds’ trailer, as it showcases the imaginative lands and main story mode from Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.

Should you get involved this coming October, Banana Mania will let you roll through the lush scenery of Jungle Island, catch a spa day in the Bubbly Washing Machine, or navigate the devious mazes of Dr. Bad-Boon’s Space Colony hideout in your quest to save your beloved bananas. With immersive comic book-style storytelling and a delightful cast of new playable characters who are debuting in this faithful remaster, expect to see every world and stage from the beloved original games enhanced with new graphics and content. That’ll mean 300 odd stages to enjoy, 12 mini-games to immerse yourself in and a ton more.

It’ll arrive on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC in a couple of options too, both with full Xbox Series X Smart Delivery support upon release. The standard game will drop for £34.99 (console) and £24.99 (PC), whilst the Digital Deluxe edition will retail for £44.99. Additionally, should you buy the digital PS4 version from PlayStation Store or the physical version from a retailer, you’ll be able to play the PS5 version at no extra cost when it launches.

We’ll be sure to remind you when Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania hits home. For now though, take in the trailer and let us know your thoughts.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
