We’ve seen Xbox make the first moves with Xbox Series X before Sony followed up with PS5 goodies, but slap-bang in the middle of silly season EA have stepped up to the plate with their EA Play Live 2020 showing. But did they manage to excite gamers with reveals and announcements of their upcoming games? TheXboxHub team get back together for TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 35 to chat about how things played out.

Join Gareth, Neil and James as they chat over the best and worst of the recent EA Play Live 2020 event. With talk centred around Skate 4, Star Wars: Squadrons, Apex Legends and Rocket Arena, there were certainly some things shown off at EA Play Live 2020 that are worth your consideration.

But alongside that came first visual mentions of the likes of FIFA 21 and Madden 21, plus a whole ton of excitement around some new EA Originals titles.

The question is, did Skate 4 and Star Wars: Squadrons ensure the event was a worthy watch? And more importantly, did EA give gamers what they wanted to see and hear from EA?
