Thought Ubisoft had forgotten about Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands? Think again as Operation Oracle is coming!
Arriving in-game on May 2nd 2019, Operation Oracle for Ghost Recon Wildlands delivers a new narrative that focuses on two free missions, with the content hitting Xbox One, PS4 and PC players just as another free weekend takes hold.
Yep, that’s right, between the 2nd-5th May 2019, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands will be free-to-play, giving anyone who doesn’t currently own the game that chance to witness everything that it delivers, along with the Operation Oracle content. Should you then like what you see, you’ll be able to pick the game up shortly after.
Today is all about the latest content though and in Operation Oracle, this new piece of DLC is playable in both single-player and co-op, sending the Ghosts on a rescue mission for a Skell Tech engineer taken hostage by Unidad. As you may expect though, this typical rescue mission will soon turn into something much bigger. Forget what you know about your enemies and friends as you meet Cole D. Walker, a Ghost Team Leader on the hunt for truth.
One of the best military shooters around, Ubisoft pulled one out of the bag when they released Ghost Recon Wildlands back in 2017, and with the latest free update ready to roll, and the free weekend tempting in new players, never has there been a better time to check it out. Make sure you hit up our full review of the game on Xbox One, and then go discover for yourself just why it is so good. You’ll find the Xbox Store more than happy to drop the goods.
If you really, really, REALLY like what you see, then kitting yourself out with a pair of the Thustmaster Y-350X 7.1 Powered Ghost Recon Wildlands Edition headset will complete the journey.
