Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands PVP set to receive another major update with Jungle Storm

-

Whilst the recently added Ghost War PVP mode has only been live for a short while now, those looking for some fresh content won’t need to wait long before the next major update for Ghost Recon: Wildlands arrives.

Coming December 14th to Xbox One, PS4 and PC, players will be able to jump in to the second major update for Ghost Recon Wildlands Ghost War PvP, that follows on from November’s Interference content update, with the cleverly named Jungle Storm update.

Even though the update may share its name with another popular title within the Ghost Recon series, the content included is certainly much different and players can expect to find all of the following making its way to way to the game

  • Two new Classes Pathfinder is the first of the new classes and comes equipped with a silent firing crossbow, that brings an element of enhanced stealth to play and deadly accuracy. On top of this the new crossbow is undetectable by drones making detection near impossible to those that utilise their surroundings. The second class has not yet been revealed but will be linked to a new legend that will be appearing in the main game soon.
  • Ranked Play – Ranked Play is the next new addition coming to the game, with players now set able to take their squad and compete against others online to raise their rank from Bronze I all the way to Elite.
  • New Maps – More maps will be arriving for both the Elimination and Uplink game modes.
  • Weapons and Updates – New weapons and gameplay updates to enhance the game will be brought in for both the PvP and PvE modes within Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands

The Jungle Storm update won’t be the last update to arrive for Ghost Recon Wildlands Ghost War mode, and those who stick with the game into 2018 can be sure to expect many more major updates and game changing features for the PvP side of things when Extended Ops, New Assignment, Reinforcement and Bravo 6 arrive in 2018.

Will you be jumping into the latest update when it arrives on December 14th? Have a watch of the trailer below and then make sure you let us know your thoughts in the comments below or via our usual social channels.

After 20 years of playing every game I can get my hands on, I can now be found selling my soul for anything Resident Evil, Gears of War, or Gamerscore related... all of which will be mastered after a good cuppa!
