For a certain generation and niche of gamers, our lives were dominated by the beautifully simple loop of coming home from a hard day at work or school, and hopping onto Call of Duty. Moving through the Prestige ranks in multiplayer, slaying zombies, or being enthralled in the latest campaign, the legendary FPS series has a special place in gaming hall of fame. At the recent Xbox Games Showcase, we were treated to a deep-dive into the latest COD entry – Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, releasing later this year. This game promises to capture the same excitement and intensity that made the series a favorite among fans. Just like the adrenaline rush from a well-timed killstreak, many gamers also find excitement in other forms of digital entertainment, such as kasyna na prawdziwe pieniadze, where the thrill of winning and strategy takes center stage. Read on for the deets!
Gone Rogue
COD: Black Ops 6 is coming to Xbox, PlayStation, PC and Game Pass later this year. Following on canonically from the goings-on of Black Ops 2’s main campaign, the story of Blops 6 takes us on a globe-trotting adventure in the shoes of Troy Marshall, accompanied by series-favourite Frank Woods, and a host of other spies and assassins.
You see, Troy and the gang have been forced to go rogue against their former employers, and what follows is a thrilling action-espionage film set against the backdrop of the early-1990s Gulf War era.
With the likes of Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War’s Russell Adler also rejoining the cast, we can expect some pretty mind-bending story-beats, and of course a ton of bombastic explosions.
Movement Madness
Developers Treyarch were also keen to show off their new ‘omnimovement’ system which will come to the game. This innovative movement system will allow players to slide, dive, strafe and sprint in all directions, allowing for fluid traversal across your favourite maps. It really does promise to usher in a whole new era for COD movement, to the extent where replaying older titles, where omnimovement is missing, just feels odd.
Talking of Multiplayer, and veteran fans will be delighted to hear that the old Prestige system is back, allowing you to reset all of your unlocks after reaching a certain level, with the incentive to do it all over again with a shiny new badge next to your name. With this system present at launch in October, we won’t be surprised to be matched against Level 1000 players come November!
Of course, Zombies mode is back, with a similar return to the old-school CODs in the form of bringing back Round-Based Zombies. Further details regarding the latest iteration of the undead-slaying mode are surely soon to come.
