Forget about the smooth roads of Forza and put the brilliance of Codemasters’ GRID to one side for today is all about a different type of racing – dirt racing – as Tony Stewart’s Sprint Car Racing hits Xbox One and PS4.

Available to purchase from the Xbox Store for Xbox One or the PlayStation Store for those preferring to embrace the other side of the coin, Tony Stewart’s Sprint Car Racing is the latest racing title on the block – and it certainly provides something a little different.

You see, with Tony Stewart’s Sprint Car Racing the mud will be flying as we get to experience all the drama and madness of some good old Saturday night short track racing. Created – as you will not be surprised to hear – by Monster Games in collaboration with Sprint Car champion and that NASCAR legend, Tony Stewart, Sprint Car Racing will have you working your way through three different race series as you embark on a new, totally authentic dirt track experience.

The deep career will take you from the All Star TQ Midgets before working your way up to the stunning, stupidly powerful, 410 Winged Sprint Cars, seeing you negotiating contracts, upgrading cars and purchasing additional equipment along the way. From there you’ve got the now standard Quick Race and Championships, along with a 25-player strong online multiplayer option that will let you show off your skills to the online world, whilst the inclusion of split-screen head-to-head action will see bragging rights passed along the sofa.

With Tony Stewart’s Sprint Car Racing giving up access to no less than 24 different dirt tracks and plenty of customisable – officially licensed – opportunities in place, if you’re a fan of the icon who is Stewart or just love a bit of proper dirt racing, Tony Stewart’s Sprint Car Racing should well suffice.

Features include:

  • 3 Racing Series: Race everything from TQ Midgets to the insanely powerful 900 HP 410 Winged Sprint Cars.
  • Deep Career: Sign contracts with sponsors and upgrade your cars and equipment as you progress from being a local unknown to showcasing your skills on the national stage.
  • 25-Player Online Multiplayer: Challenge up to 24 of your friends and compete with them in weekly tournaments.
  • Split Screen: Race head-to-head with friends in 2-player Split Screen.
  • 24 Dirt Tracks: Compete in events across the country, from small town rural tracks to elite stadiums.
  • Personalize Your Experience: Tune your car, adjust your driving experience, and customize your appearance.
  • The official game of Tony Stewart’s Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1.

Fancy seeing what the fuss is about? Get over to the usual digital stores by hitting the links above and take in what Tony Stewart’s Sprint Car Racing has to offer for yourself. See you on the track.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
