2026's Best Games

Over the last few years the farming community have been granted access to all manner of various sims to let them live out their harvesting fantasies in the virtual world. Now though the farming genre is moving on a level with Pure Farming 2018.

Arriving from Ice Flames and Techland Publishing, Pure Farming 2018 sees farming go global as it takes us across multiple countries in order to carry out our farm based duties. From breeding the usual livestocks, to growing various crop types and even producing the greenest of energy sources, Pure Farming 2018 isn’t your every day bog-standard farm sim – this is a whole new kettle of fish.

Licensed machinery is in place, as are multiple game modes which should see Pure Farming 2018 catering for all manner of farmers, veterans and newcomers. What’s more, those who have a penchant for travel should find that this is a farming sim that more than delivers the goods. Multiple countries are available from the get go, and should you plump for the Deluxe Edition, will find that the German countryside is also ripe for adventure, giving even more opportunity to sow your seeds and raise your cattle.

Pure Farming 2018 is available right now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The Standard Edition comes with a £34.99 price tag attached, whilst the Deluxe Edition, with the Germany Map DLC, Landini Rex F DLC, Lindner Geotrac 134ep DLC, Gomselmash Palesse CS-200 DLC and Special Outfit Pack all included will set you back £44.99. Each of those additions can be picked up individually too. The Microsoft Store will sort you out.

Furthermore, Techland and Ice Flames have extensive post-launch support planned, with both free and paid content. Whilst a detailed schedule is currently under wraps, expect the following to hit home…

  • At least 7 DLCs with new models, machines, and other surprises within 6 months;
  • General game improvements based on players’ feedback from launch;
  • At least 3 updates to modding tools within 3 months;
  • Support for steering wheels and peripherals, and more within 3 months;
  • Regularly selected PC mods added as free DLC for consoles.

We’ll have a full review for you in the days ahead but should you wish to know more about the game then it could well be worth your time checking out our hands on preview from a couple of weeks back.

Thought all farming sims were the same? Think again!
