World of Warships: Legends has already gone down great guns since launch on Xbox One and PS4, but the team at Wargaming want to ensure as many gamers as possible can get their mitts on the epic naval action found within. And that’s where a full retail edition of the game comes in.
Come November 15th 2019, World of Warships: Legends will be releasing in an exclusive retail version – the Firepower Deluxe Edition. This comes about via a partnership between Wargaming – a publisher known primarily for its free-to-play online-games – and the team at Gearbox Publishing, allowing reach to new players and markets by providing additional access to game content in stores.
The collectible Firepower Deluxe Edition of World of Warships: Legends will come with a bunch of premium content for both new players and fans alike too, with a month’s worth of premium account time and in-game currency just the start. From there you’ll expect to see premium ships also in place: Iwaki, Kamikaze, Texas, and Arizona.
If you haven’t yet played World of Warships: Legends then you should be taking in our review before getting to it, but basically it is a fully-adjusted console version of World of Warships, built from the ground up to feature fast, intense gameplay. With two million active players across the globe, should you see fit to get sea-worthy then Legends will allow you the chance to battle it out on the high seas with legendary warships from the early and mid-20th century, using giant cannons and torpedoes to destroy their opponents. If you have ever wanted to recruit legendary commanders from maritime history, upgrade vessels and stake your claim to naval supremacy against others from around the world then World of Warships: Legends is the game for you.
The Firepower Deluxe Edition will become available for purchase on both Xbox One and PS4 on November 15th 2019, with launch in North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. The Retail SRP will be $39.99 USD/€39.99/£34.99.
