With remasters and free games galore on offer for Xbox owners this past week, it certainly is a good time to be an Xbox fan. Fancy taking a look at the five most exciting articles that have come out of TheXboxHub this week? We round up our favourite articles from the 26th June – 2nd July 2016.

INSIDE OUT NOW ON XBOX ONE!

Finally, after many months of anticipation, we can treat ourselves to the latest atmospheric, tense and nerve-wracking title to come out of Playdead Studios.

If you want full details regarding Inside then check out our launch article but, in a nutshell, Inside puts you into the boots of a young boy, trying to escape what seems like a totalitarian regime – and this is shown through the bleak colours and art-style similar to that found in the awesome LIMBO. So, if you enjoyed travelling through the puzzling world of LIMBO back in the day, then chances are Inside is exactly for you.

If you’re still not sure though, we’ll have a full review for you soon.

BIOSHOCK: THE COLLECTION REMASTERED, CONFIRMED AND DATED FOR XBOX ONE, PS4 AND PC

Rapture has never looked this glorious!

Bioshock: The Collection brings back Ken Levine’s action adventure FPS to next-gen consoles, with all three Bioshock titles getting the remaster makeover. Travel underwater to Rapture in Bioshock and Bioshock 2, acquiring plasmids and fighting off those brutish Big Daddy’s on our Xbox One. Or you could relive your trip to Colombia with Booker and Elizabeth, heading into the clouds and trying to get to the end of Liz’s mystery.

Whatever you do though, the chance to check out Bioshock on the latest systems is too good to turn down.

ARE THE FREE XBOX GAMES WITH GOLD TITLES FOR JULY 2016 ANY GOOD?

The Xbox Games With Gold scheme is something that all gold Xbox 360 and Xbox One gamers should be taking advantage of.

However, with the Xbox Games for Gold titles having been somewhat lacking in quality the last few months, our hopes are on July to lift the enthusiasm. Do we have some real triple-A stuff to get downloading this time around, or are we being left with another set of five minute time wasters?

We take an in-depth look at July’s offerings to see whether the rich games catalogue Xbox have at their disposal is being fully utilised.

UP NEXT – A LOOK AT THE XBOX ONE AND XBOX 360 GAMES OUT IN JULY 2016

As with each and every month throughout the year, we look at the upcoming retail games releasing in the coming month.

In July we have a game break out from Xbox Game Preview, a popular retro title given new wings on its return on Xbox, and a couple of new scary titles for horror enthusiasts to dig their teeth into. If you want to have a look at the full list of retail games in July, complete with detailed explanations into how they work, then look no further than this feature.

If you don’t fancy sitting down reading words and stuff, then why not check out our video as well?

Unboxing the KontrolFreek Destiny CQC Signature Edition thumbsticks for Xbox One

We leave you this week with a look at a new accessory for Xbox One.

We’re big fans of the thumbstick add-ons that come to the market from the guys at KontrolFreek, and so the opportunity to check out a new Destiny branded thumbstick for our Xbox One controller was too good to turn down. With the iconic tricorn logo and the usual KontrolFreek standards in play, chances are the Destiny CQC Signature Edition thumbsticks for Xbox One are pretty damn decent.

Check out our unboxing below. We’ll have a full review for you very, very soon too.

Catch you next week.
