After a disappointing Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale last time round, this week’s bargains are now in place. Whilst there aren’t a huge amount of discounts for either Xbox One or Xbox 360 owners to get excited about, those looking for a sports title will be more than happy. Whether you should be looking for a sports title right now, when the newer versions will soon be dropping though is completely up to you.
Let us take you through the best and the worst of the Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale for 7th – 13th June 2016. Don’t expect any real cheap bargains!
Grab – Fast & Furious: Showdown – 75% off – £3.99
It’s time for you to become a part of the crew as Fast & Furious Showdown gets discounted rather heavily.
Now, you could come back here every day for the next three years and struggle to find us telling you to go and buy Showdown, but in a week in which we are seeing hardly any decent discounts, this one stands out head and shoulders above the rest as the cheapest on offer.
Admittedly it’s not the best game you’re going to play but for £3.99 may just be worth checking out, if only because it promises to give you the opportunity to build your dream car. With eight locations to check out, 50 upgrades and perks to install and a challenge mode in place to put your driving skills to the test, if you must buy a game this week, then this is the one for you.
Leave – FIFA 16, NBA Live 16, NHL 16, Madden 16 – Various prices
Oh look, here we are again championing the stunning EA Access scheme.
If you already have an EA Access pass, then you won’t need to grab any of the FIFA, NBA, NHL or NFL ‘bargains’ that are on the table – although we can’t for one minute pretend they are good value anyway. If you don’t have an EA Access pass, then we advise you find yourself one asap. Not only will you be able to grab the majority of the games above for roughly the same price as a single title would normally cost, but you’ll also get early access to numerous other games and 10% discounts on a ton of DLC.
It’s where the smart money goes…don’t even think about picking up one of the current EA sports titles without it.
So that’s it for this week. If you like the look of the stuff above and decide to grab something, we’d love it if you could tell us what you pick up in the comments below. If you fancy saving even more cash as well, then you may wish to head on over to CDKeys and pick up some cheap Xbox Live credit first.
