The Xbox Deals With Gold sale is delivering the goods once more to all Xbox One and Xbox 360 gamers. But with the Telltale Publishing Sale in tow, the number of discounted titles available for us to get our hands on has increased, ensuring that it is a near-on certainty that there will be a game to appeal to everyone.

Which however are the very best of the discounts available in the Xbox Live Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale for 19th-25th June 2018, and which are the worst? We take a look.

Grab – Tales From The Borderlands Complete Season – 70% – £3.60

The Telltale Sale that has been found accompanying the usual Deals With Gold is most definitely the way to go this week and the standout title by far is that of Tales From The Borderlands.

For just £3.60 you will find yourself getting access to the Complete Season, as you get given the chance to head on in to the wonderful Borderlands universe whilst also being treated to the wonders that Telltale add in.

Playing as Rhys and Fiona (a Hyperion ‘suit’ and Pandoran con artist respectively), Tales From the Borderlands will see you taken on a wild ride where gangsters, bandit lords, and Vault Hunters rule.

If you like Borderlands, and adore what Telltale have done to numerous franchises then you cannot go wrong with a purchase of Tales from the Borderlands for just £3.60. The only downside is that long term Xbox One gamers will no doubt have been able to previously pick the game up via the Games With Gold scheme.

Grab – The Wolf Among Us – 75% off – £5.00

It may seem strange that I’m sat here telling you to purchase another title that was previously free via the Xbox Games With Gold scheme, but unlike Borderlands above, it’s been over 2 years since the adventures of Bigby Wolf were available for nothing, and chances are there will be a whole host of new gamer wishing to get in on the magical action that unfolds.

For just £5, The Wolf Among Us sees Telltale take Bill Willingham’s Fables comic book series, before sticking their own interpretation on things, creating a brilliant – but brutal and mature – take on some of our favourite fairytale characters.

The first really big series after The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us is adored by many, and so if you haven’t yet taken in the stunning adventures, this week is as good a time as any to get involved.

Leave – 7 Days to Die – 50% off – £14.00

There are a number of reason why you shouldn’t bother purchasing 7 Days to Die this week.

Firstly, the 50% off isn’t particularly tempting and the £14.00 you’ll need to spend in order to get your download of this game in could be easily spent on both the titles above, plus at least one more.

But secondly, and probably more importantly, is the fact that 7 Days to Die isn’t a good game. Released back in 2016, 7 Days to Die promised a wonderful post-apocalyptic open world that had been overrun by the undead. With a variety of game mechanics combining first person shooting, survival horror, tower defense, and role-playing, letting us fight, craft, loot, mine and explore, it could have been so, so, good.

But it wasn’t and it isn’t, instead seeing gamers presented with clunky menus, dreadful combat and an absolute ton of bugs and glitches present. If you only do yourself one favour this week, it would be to leave 7 Days to Die, to die. Preferably quicker than in 7 days.

If you want to take our word for it and fancy grabbing one of the games above, then make sure you spend a minute paying the team at CDKeys a visit. Their cheap Xbox Live Credit is well worth checking out.
