wolfenstein youngblood xbox one

Always wanted to take in a Wolfenstein adventure with a mate? Well, Wolfenstein: Youngblood is coming to Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC this July and thanks to a cooperative Buddy Pass, playing through things will be easier than ever.

The first modern cooperative title to come out of the Wolfenstein series, Wolfenstein: Youngblood will be pitching up on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC on 26th July 2019.

Coming about via Machine Games’ collaboration with Arkane Studios Lyon, Wolfenstein: Youngblood will throw you and a friend back in time to 1980s Paris, fighting back against the Reich’s war machine as one of BJ Blazkowicz’s twin daughters, Jess or Soph. This will see you given the chance to terrorise the goose-stepping fascists alone by utilising an AI companion, or going about it all with a friend, obliterating Nazis while searching for your missing father.

What’s the most interesting part of this though is the fact that anyone getting involved in the Wolfenstein: Youngblood Deluxe Edition, will find that it is much easier to hunt in pairs, thanks to the Buddy Pass system. This will allow owners to partner up with a friend, even if they don’t own the game. See, Deluxe Edition owners will be able to provide their exclusive Buddy Pass to one friend at a time, allowing them to download and play Wolfenstein: Youngblood for free, as long as they play with the owner of the Deluxe Edition.

Further to that, those playing for free on the Buddy Pass can choose to upgrade to the full game at any time to play on their own or with other players.

The Deluxe Edition also comes with some cool cosmetic bonuses, including the Cyborg Skin Pack, providing the sisters with sleek and intimidating titanium alloy versions of their Power Suit, guns, combat knives and hatchets.

What’s more, if you are super excited for Youngblood, then you can pre-order the game and get access to some super cool bonuses thanks to the Wolfenstein: Youngblood’s Legacy Pack. It’s available right now from the Xbox Store with a £24.99 price attached to the Standard Edition, and £34.99 being asked for the Deluxe Edition. This includes all of the following:

  • The Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Jacket Power Suit
  • B.J.’s US Army Power Suit
  • The Wolfenstein: Old Blood Pipe
  • The Wolfenstein: Old Blood Knife
  • A WW2 Weapon Skin Set for all ranged weapons
