From prison breaks and ninja escapades, to American football and serious racing, there’s sure to be a title that excites you in stores this week for Xbox One.

The Escapists 2 – 22nd August – Xbox One

The Escapists 2 wants to lock you up and throw away the key. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to plan and execute an escape plan from ten uniquely themed prisons; including prisoner transportation in the form of a plane and a boat. There are brand new ways to escape, new items to craft and a fresh combat system to make those brawls even more brutal. It’s up to you whether you’re incarcerated by yourself or with three players by your side, either online or locally. The great escape is on!

F1 2017 – 25th August – Xbox One

The official game of the 2017 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP could be the biggest instalment of the series so far. All the tracks usually seen throughout an official season and the teams that line up on the grid for each race are ever-present. The career mode has been expanded to incorporate classic F1 cars which are used for Invitational events, and there’s a load of new upgrades for the Research and Development system. Expect to see new rules available for the Championship mode too. But that’s not all because there are four additional shortened track layouts; Britain, Bahrain, USA and Japan. Get behind the wheel and prove your worth in F1 2017.

Any idea when you’ll be posting a review of F1 17? (only game of interest to me out of that bunch).

Also do you know if it’ll be receiving a 4k update for the One X? I know it’s getting 4K support for the PS4 Pro which could well be the deciding factor determining which system I buy it for this time around…

As far as I know, it will be 4K on the X1X. As for the review, it’s in the works, that’s alll I can tell you but keep an eye out for it 🙂

Review of that should be live before launch…maybe even in a day or two.

Not a clue on the 4K support though. Would be great if it did.
