Prepare for the magnificent seven to hit the stores this week in the world of Xbox. Even we think that’s a crazy amount of games to choose from, but let’s take a look and see what you could be picking up.
Gears of War 4 – 11th October – Xbox One
It’s time for the next generation of Gears, and a new saga with Marcus Fenix’s son JD in the role of protagonist this time. Alongside his friends, Kait and Del, their task is to rescue the ones they love after an attack and try to figure out the source of a monstrous new enemy. Fight alongside your own pals in the two-player co-op campaign in split-screen or over Xbox Live. There are a couple of new weapons to get to grips with such as the deadly sounding Buzzkill, which I’m sure will come in handy across the new, and returning, multiplayer game modes. Fancy a spot of Dodgeball, Gears style?

WWE 2K17 – 11th October – Xbox One & Xbox 360
Get ready to lay the smack-down on all Superstars who dare to stand in the squared circle as the latest instalment of the WWE 2K series arrives with improvements aplenty. The Showcase mode has been removed, but more attention has been placed onto the likes of MyCareer, where now you’ll experience an interesting story involving Paul Heyman which will run alongside all the in-ring action. Combining the much improved Universe Mode with the massive roster containing almost every Superstar on the main shows, as well as a multitude of Legends, and WWE 2K17 could well be the best offering in the series so far.
