Xbox One S – Gears of War 4 Limited Edition 2TB Console Review
Many will find themselves happy with their current Xbox One, but there were certainly plenty of people out there who were excited at the prospect of a new console when Microsoft announced the Xbox One S back at E3 2016. Sure, they also announced the hotly anticipated Project Scorpio – but no-one really knows what that is. The Xbox One S on the other hand was a new and improved console that would be available this year. My initial response to a new machine so soon into the cycle was of surprise and uncertainty on whether it was worth upgrading or not, but Microsoft’s more recent announcement of the limited edition Gears of War Xbox One S that would be releasing alongside the game of the [...]

Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller – Gears of War 4 Limited Edition Review
Back at E3 2015, I was sat down for Microsoft’s briefing, waiting in anticipation to see which exciting new games I would be spending the next year emptying my wallet for. So when Phil Spencer got to the stage to announce something new and unique for console users, we had no idea the next thing we would see light up the show would be the Xbox One Elite Controller. With an elegant and sleek look alongside customisable features it immediately become an in demand product. So when E3 2016 rolled around, the announcement of an improved look to coincide with the release of one of the greatest franchises in Xbox history blew it out the park for me.
So how good is the Gears of War Elite [...]

DreamScreen Review – Visuals and colour ARE everything
For a modern day gamer, visuals are everything. Granted, there may be the odd few who are happy to continue going down the retro route, taking in graphics and colours that wouldn't be out of place in the 1980’s, but for the most part, it's the eye-catchingly sharp 1080p, 60fps animations that draw us in.
So anything that can help enhance our gaming sessions further, by utilising the visuals on screen is most definitely a god-send.
Something like DreamScreen then.

HyperX CloudX Pro Gaming Headset for Xbox One and Windows Review
From the stupidly expensive, to the downright cheap, there are a whole ton of headsets aimed at the Xbox One market. With full wireless support, interchangeable cups, premium builds and detachable mics, the world is your oyster, with little chance of not being able to find one that suits your needs.
Now though, there’s a new headset on the market. The HyperX CloudX Pro Gaming Headset is solidly placed in the midfield pack, comes with a detachable mic and the option to switch out ear cups from one to another. But is it any good?

KontrolFreek Destiny CQC Signature Edition thumbsticks for Xbox One Review
It’s no secret, I’m a massive fan of the KontrolFreek thumbstick add-ons for Xbox One. I’m not however the world’s biggest promoter of Destiny. Thankfully whilst the latest sticks from KontrolFreek come emblazoned with the iconic Destiny logo, they are quite happily at home on a control pad that rarely goes near a first person shooter.

Grip-iT thumbstick covers review – Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4
Give me a standard controller and I'll ask you what has happened to the thumbsticks.
Yes, I am one of the converted. One of those who steadfastly refuse to take to a gaming session with a plain old pad. Instead I need an add-on. I need additions. I need enhancers.
In its simplest form I need thumbstick covers. And the most simplest of these most definitely come in the form of Grip-iT covers.

PDP Energizer Magnetic Play and Charge Kit for Xbox One Review
As technology has progressed, the wireless solution has begun to hit home. Your phone has become mobile. Your personal earbuds are probably bluetooth. Your home network is wireless. Your console controllers have ditched the cables.
But there is still a place on this earth for a cable. And PDP have decided that place is in charging your Xbox One controller, preferably with a magnetic play and charge kit that ensures quick release and long battery life being at the forefront of your mind.

LucidSound LS-30 Universal Gaming Headset for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4 Review
It has to be said that there are a huge number of gaming headsets on the market. But for all the massive drivers, bass boosts, detachable mics and customisable tags in the world, the one thing that will really gather a gamers' attention is the overall look. At least initially.
We all want to be seen to be wearing something pretty special and there is little chance of a disgustingly styled pair of cans making its way to many gamers heads. The offering from LucidSound should therefore be a headset many will want to check out. One glance at the glorious LS30 universal wireless gaming option proves that.

Throw me a concaved Xbox One thumbstick add-on and I’ll squeal with delight. Throw me a pair that come resplendent in a glorious red on black colour scheme and I may just explode in a shower of joy.
