Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, ACA Neogeo Baseball Stars 2 is the latest retro themed baseball title to make the most of the ACA Neogeo porting scheme, to deliver it’s wares to the modern day gamer.
First released in 1992, Baseball Stars 2 provides, and I quote ‘intense graphics and passionate announcers‘ – and if that isn’t enough to see a game to you, I don’t know what is.
With just the rather poor R.B.I Baseball 19 or much better Super Mega Baseball 2 providing proper baseball antics on Xbox One, there may well be a place in this modern era of gaming for Baseball Stars 2, especially when you take into account the fact that Power-bats are in play, and an Auto-fielding system lets those of all abilities the chance to play. Drop in global leaderboards and amendable difficulty settings, and you’ve got a game that may just be worth a little shot.
