I was always under the impression that a pirate’s life was just that… for life. But in Stories: The Path of Destinies we find ourselves dropping into the life of an unlikely hero – ex-pirate Reynardo. But how his life plays out from that instance onward is down to just one thing – YOU!
After previously releasing on PS4 and PC a few years ago, Stories: The Path of Destinies is now available on Xbox One, to pretty much do as the title suggests – shape a bit of destiny.
Created by the development team at Spearhead Games and published on Xbox One by the wonderful Digerati Distribution, Stories comes across as an action RPG that also delivers fast paced combat and a host of choices and decisions. With 4K promises made to those Xbox One X gamers out there, should you be after a new adventure which you can really get your teeth stuck into, then Stories: The Path of Destinies may well suffice.
Our full review has much more in-depth knowledge than we could ever deliver via this launch article, and you would do well to check it out as a matter of priority, but should you wish the fate of a kingdom to be in your hands, this is the game for you.
It helps massively that this vibrant fairytale of a land comes complete with not just many enemies to fight back, but the promise of taking in wonderful airships, travelling across floating islands and allowing you the chance to take in multiple choices in order for success to be had.
