Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Legacy of the First Blade Episode 1 detailed and dated

-

Looking for a reason to head back into the wonderful world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey? The first post-launch story arc addition is coming – and today it has been detailed and dated.

Coming to breathe fresh life into the world of Odyssey for Xbox One, PS4 and PC players is the Legacy of the First Blade, with the first episode, Hunted, dropping on December 4th 2018.

This is the first part of the most ambitious post-launch content plan for Assassin’s Creed and throughout Hunted and the following two episodes, you will be able to continue the grand Greek Odyssey to encounter Darius, the legend who was first to wield the Assassin’s Hidden Blade.

As Hunted unfolds, the chance to discover whether Darius is friend or foe will be upfront and centre, while meeting new characters, engaging in gripping naval combat, fighting new and powerful enemies, and uncovering revelations about the Assassin’s Creed universe, will push the lore in all directions.

Legacy of the First Blade will continue the age old Assassin’s Creed legacy that allows the players’ choice to be at the forefront through the relationships they build with colourful characters and the decisions they make along the way. In Legacy of the First Blade, this will mean the option to customise new equipment and master new special abilities as you continue to fight across Greece, engaging in visceral battles on land and on sea to continue their Odyssey and become a true hero of legend.

Following the release of Hunted on December 4th, we’ll then see the second episode, Shadow Heritage, and the third addition, Bloodline, completing the first story arc in early 2019.

If you wish to get involved in the Legacy of the First Blade, then it can be purchased as part of the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Season Pass for £29.99, or separately as a story arc, once the 4th December rolls on round. The Season Pass also includes Assassin’s Creed III Remastered and Assassin’s Creed Liberation Remastered, which will be released in March 2019.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is right up there with the very best AC titles ever created and so the opportunity to dip our toes in once more is once that shouldn’t be ignored.
