After wowing the PC crowds, the hype surrounding the arrival of Black Desert on Xbox One is of gargantuan proportions. And today is when all that hype becomes a reality with the release of Black Desert on Xbox One.
Available from today for all those who have decided to put their money where their mouth is, is Black Desert Ultimate Edition on Xbox One. Now, whilst the full release of Black Desert on Xbox One isn’t officially due to be in place until the 4th March 2019, with a purchase of the Ultimate Edition of the game for £78.49, you’ll get instant access, some 72 hours in advance.
You will also get all manner of other goodies too, with the Ultimate Edition including the full game, a pre-order exclusive Shudad outfit, a 90-day Value Pack, a pre-order exclusive German Shepherd Pet, another pre-order exclusive in A Young Fogan pet (Tier 2), a Tier 5 Horse(White), the Trina Knight Horse Armor, the Trina Knight Wagon Set, 10 EXP scrolls for Combat Skill and Life Skills, Horse Flute(Permanent), Storage Maid, and no less than 3000 Pearls to use in game… all alongside that 72-hour early access.
Yes, nearly £80 isn’t a cheap way of getting involved in the game, but should you have been one coming over from the PC world and you just can’t live without Black Desert, or you are feeling flush with cash and wish to give the console edition a shot, then the money side of things could well be forgotten.
But what is Black Desert you may well ask. Well, it is the latest MMORPG that threatens to tear up the gaming world, by putting you in the hunt for monsters, the battle against huge bosses, and the chance to fight with friends in guilds. Failing that, you could always go fishing, or cook up a meal, or spend time making cash by trading goods. Basically, Black Desert on Xbox One is what you make of it, and the sheer amount of variety included is something that will make the game hugely appealing to a wide range of players.
The medieval fantasy setting helps too, and so if you are looking for a game that will thrust you straight into the battle between warring nations, and wish to have something that you can go properly deep with, Black Desert on Xbox One will more than suffice.
We get that the Ultimate Edition price tag may however put a good few players off, especially those preferring to dip in to see what all the fuss is about, but thankfully Pearl Abyss have catered for that scenario too. In fact, just a day after this Ultimate Edition drops, we’ll see a more palatable £39.99 giving access to the Deluxe Edition, whilst a day after that, the Standard Edition will come on board for £23.99, with the main release date seeing the game drop by itself on March 4th.
As you would expect, both of these will give a little in the way of bonuses too, with the Deluxe Edition containing the full Black Desert game, a 60-day Value Pack, a German Shepherd Pet (pre-order exclusive), a Tier 3 Horse, the Trina Knight Horse Armor, 1000 Pearls to use in game, and 48-hour early access. The Standard Edition meanwhile will be giving up the full game, a 30-day Value Pack, a German Shepherd Pet (pre-order exclusive), 500 Pearls to use in game, and 24-hour early access.
