Break the Walls Down in Radon Blast on Xbox

-

Radon Blast Xbox

Fancy an old-school brick-breaker game, with easy achievements? You’re in luck, as Radon Blast has just crashed through onto Xbox.

The classic brick-breaker genre has been given a 21st Century makeover with some lovely HD visuals in Radon Blast. Expect the tried and tested formula though, with bonuses such as extra points, speed changers and multi-balls to drop down as you smash those bricks.

Radon Blast also have a survival aspect to it. As you are playing the game and breaking bricks, a wall will appear at the opposite end to your paddle. The main aim here isn’t to break every brick, but to smash that wall down. Each hit with bring the walls HP down, and once it hits zero you can progress to the next stage. Be careful though as missing the ball can mean you drop down a stage too, and you must quickly get back up to the next stage before your ball explodes. The pressure is on this brick-breaker like never before.

If you fancy a more traditional brick-breaker though, have a read through of our review for Glaive: Brick Breaker.

If you do die though, the stages are randomly sorted, meaning no playthrough is the same. Radon Blast will give you that “one more try” feeling like the classic arcade games.

If brick-breakers are your bag, then Radon Blast is available on Xbox (both Xbox One and Xbox Series X) priced at £4.19 which by my accounts is cheaper than buying a brick and a sledgehammer and breaking bricks in real life. If that price isn’t temptation enough then stand by for our review coming very soon. But for now, let us know in the comments what you favourite type of brick is!

Game description:

Break bricks by using the ball. Get items like bonus, speed and multiple balls to make the game more challenging. If you hit the force wall multiple times it will be distroyed so you can reach the next stage. If you miss a ball you go back to the previous stage. But hurry up, you only have seconds before the ball explodes. Radon Blast is full packed with randomly sorted stages. An increasing ball speed makes it even more challenging. Jump between stages, collect bonus multipliers to get higher scores.
