Can you create a Godlike Burger?

We know that Overcooked! spawned a whole new genre of games; one that many developers have been trying to harness ever since. Godlike Burger is the latest and whilst this one will have you attempting to cook up a galactic storm, it’s the ingredients you’ll be using which are the most interesting – see, you’ll be cooking your customers. Quite literally.

Creating the very best burger in the entire galaxy is the main idea of Godlike Burger, but in order to do just that you’ll need the best ingredients. And apparently the finest meat in town is that of your own paying customer base. We’re not sure that’s strictly true, but we’ve played enough Overcooked! and Cannibal Cuisine to know it can’t be far from the truth.

Available to purchase and download today on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch, Godlike Burger comes to consoles after chopping it up on PC through Steam, nabbing some alright reviews in the six months it’s been sat there.

Now though it’s time for console players to go intergalactic with Godlike Burger as you travel the systems in hope of creating the best burgers ever. You’ll do that be enticing customers into your kitchen, setting traps for them, then utilising their remains for patty creation.

As you’d expect to hear, this business model doesn’t go down well with all and you’ll need to be sly about your murderous mischief, avoiding getting caught as you cook.

But nail what is needed of a chef and you’ll find that Godlike Burger opens up, allowing the chance to upgrade your kitchens, improve your reputation and have the chance to travel to additional planets – no doubt to hope that other species are more suitable for burger meat.

In all, there’s some fun behind Godlike Burger with the key features sitting as…

  • Kill your customers with a range of hidden traps or the good old meat cleaver! Their delicious meat is your special ingredient after all.
  • Cook the best burgers and turn your pitiful burger joint into the universe’s most famous restaurant.
  • Improve your kitchen and find out what each alien race likes – uncover the secret of the perfect burger.
  • Explore the galaxy and its worlds. There are different alien species and their individual strengths and weaknesses to discover.
  • Don’t get caught! Leave no witnesses and keep the police’s suspicion low by playing and planning smartly.

Keep an eye out for a review of Godlike Burger from us soon.

Until that time you can grab a copy of the game and the download you need from your local digital store – we’ll point you to the Xbox Store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It’s also on PS4, PS5 (PlayStation Store), Nintendo Switch and, of course, PC through Steam

Game Description:

In Godlike Burger you run the craziest restaurant of the galaxy! Stun, poison and kill customers in many devious ways… and turn them into burger meat! And don’t worry: Alien customers will keep coming if you are smart about it, because cannibalism is just too damn tasty. Godlike Burger puts you in the shoes of a maniac chef who makes the best burgers in the universe. The secret ingredient? The customers themselves! Run the restaurant, cook delicious burgers and kill lots of aliens. But be careful – leave no witnesses uncooked! During the day, different aliens arrive to taste those delicious burgers at your space restaurant. Well, or to be killed and turned into minced meat. The freezers don’t fill themselves, right? You can attack them head-on with your trusty meat cleaver or use a variety of traps to dispose of them in more creative ways. At night you have time to upgrade kitchen appliances and traps, buy supplies and cook “secret sauces”. Maybe the police are starting to suspect you? Better relocate your flying restaurant to a different planet, or pay a little bribe. You can’t have pesky cops around while trying to become the galaxy’s most famous burger restaurant!
