The instantly recognisable bandicoot returns once more and now he’s revving up to the max for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, a remastered version of the original Crash Team Racing experience coming to Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. That means we can look forward to HD visuals and the opportunity to battle it out in online multiplayer, amongst other things.
Developed by Beenox and published by Activision, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is built from the ground up to create a faithful remaster of the original Crash racing game by bringing the characters, karts, tracks and arenas to modern consoles with HD graphics. Fans will be able to see Crash and friends’ expressions and antics in beautiful detail as they blast each other with power-ups and whiz around the corners throughout all of the original racetracks.
The stakes are high and the competition is fierce as players will race with a variety of characters from the Crash Bandicoot series, including Crash, Coco, Dr. Neo Cortex and plenty more racing against the egomaniacal Nitros Oxide in order to save our planet from destruction. In this new game, Adventure, Arcade Single Race and Cup Race, Time Trials and Battle Mode are back, enabling the option to play alone in single player or versus friends, both online and offline.

We can’t wait to see fans go head-to-head as they test their Crash kart racing mettle in online multiplayer.”
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is set to arrive on 21st June, 2019 for Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch, with players able to pre-order it on the Xbox Store immediately for £34.99. There’s also a Nitros Oxide Edition available which is priced at £54.99 and contains Nitros Oxide as a playable character on day one, Oxide’s Hovercraft kart, space-themed character skins for Crash, Coco, Cortex, and more. Don’t worry if it’s a little out of your price range as you can actually earn the Nitros Oxide character and Oxide’s Hovercraft kart by completing some of the fiercest challenges in the game’s Adventure Mode.
