To keep gamers interested in your product, it needs to be kept fresh. The best way of doing that is to continue to throw extra content packs and cosmetics into the action, allowing personalisation and uniqueness to consistently come to the fore. Behaviour Interactive have been great at doing that with Dead by Daylight, allowing the game to continue to find a place in and amongst an utterly crowded market. Today that is the route they are taking once more, this time providing players with the chance to enjoy a brand new outfit for old Leatherface.

Available as part of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Collection in the Dead by Daylight in-game store comes the Old Lady Outfit for Leatherface. This marks the first time that a cosmetic has been released for the iconic killer, one who is known in-game as nothing more than The Cannibal.

Priced at 1080 Auric Cells, The Old Lady Outfit has been created to reflect Leatherface’s homemaker persona, the internalized image of wholesomeness; one twisted by generations of torture. It includes the Lady of Leather head, the Homemaker’s Apron as well as the Dinner Smasher – a blunt chunk of wood for when your next meal tries to run away.

First coming to attention in the cult-classic 1974 Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie, Leatherface joined the Entity in 2017, and since that time has gone about killing all those outsiders who dare cross his path.

“We are so happy to finally be able to bring you a new outfit for Leatherface,” says Mathieu Côté, Game Director on Dead by Daylight. “Out of all the different suits The Cannibal created for himself, the Old Lady is one of the most disturbing and gruesome. Stay safe, wear your mask!”

If you wish to grab this outfit for Leatherface then head into the game store and grab it. You’ll find the game itself available from your favourite digital store – ours being that of the Xbox Store. And if Leatherface isn’t your bag, perhaps one of these Killers will suit.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
