Cardboard cutouts are a wonderful art form, and Paper Cut Mansion takes those masterpieces one step further, with the enigmatic and thrilling tale of Toby the detective coming to our shores.
Releasing today on Xbox and PC, with a PlayStation and Switch launch slated for arrival soon, Paper Cut Mansion throws you into the thinking boots of Toby, a police detective who has just pulled up to what may be the eeriest mansion in town, the likes of which will give Resident Evil and Silent Hill a run for its money in the spooky department. However, whilst these inspirations may be slower affairs, the action-packed rogue-like we have on our hands here will have you battling enemies on every floor of this cardboard mansion, with each run – and eventual failure – providing you with more clues to put on your own Evidence Board.
Death is final in Paper Cut Mansion, with you being thrown right back to the start of your journey each time you succumb to one of the many enemy types thrown at you. Equipped only with more evidence and knowledge regarding how you dispose of each enemy, the hopes are that you’ll make it just that little bit further each time. Before each run, you’ll also have the opportunity to customise your load-out to your unique playstyle, with weapons being upgraded through collectibles found out in the world.

- • Creepy and Thrilling storyline unfolds (pun intended) as you progress in the game and unlocks different endings depending on your performance
