It’s not due to release for another month or so, but the Darksiders III hype is real – and today THQ Nordic and Gunfire Games have revealed details of their DLC plans for the game.

Launching on Xbox One, PS4 and PC come November 27th 2018, Darksiders III sees us given the chance to return to an apocalyptic Earth as we hack and slash our way through Fury’s adventure, hunting down and disposing of the Seven Deadly Sins. But whilst the main story will see Fury attempting to prove her worth as the fiercest of the four horseman, the inclusion of two separate DLC packs after launch will ensure that the fight never stops.

The Crucible and Keepers of the Void are the packs in question and these both introduce new puzzles, weapons, enemies and armour! Details of each are as follows:

  • The Crucible – Fury’s presence has been requested by a strange entity wishing to test her skills in battle. Never one to back down from a challenge, Fury accepts the invitation and gains access to a location known only as the Crucible. Here Fury will fight wave after wave of enemies, competing for a chance to unlock new rewards and items.
  • Keepers of the Void – On a quest from Vulgrim, Fury must travel into the Serpent Holes to remove an ancient threat that resides there. The Serpent Holes are riddled with new puzzles and enemies eager to test Fury’s abilities. If Fury prevails, she will unlock all new weapon from the Hollows, as well as the biggest prize of them all: The Abyssal Armour.

With a fairly comprehensive Darksiders III pre-order campaign ongoing, promising major rewards for fans who have patiently waited more than six years for the release of Darksiders III, the tale of Fury is one you really won’t want to miss!
