Embark on a spooky adventure with Creepy Tale 2

creepy tale 2

Once upon a time in a land far, far away there was a boy named Lars. He was an extremely resourceful boy – a caring and kind brother to his sister and obedient to his father who was raising children alone after the unfortunate disappearance of their mother. The time was slowly passing by in their lovely cottage and they all lived happily ever after…

OR DID THEY?

Creepy Tale 2 is a spooky cartoon puzzle adventure inspired by Central European fairy tales, like those from the Grimm Brothers with the narrative having more than a passing resemblance to Hansel and Gretal. Except this isn’t a story for little boys and girls, it’s a scary tale full of terrors and monsters.

You play as Lars, who embarks on a dangerous journey to save his sister’s mind from the clutches of a mysterious evil. You’ll use your wits to solve puzzles and lead you to the truth of why what was once a peaceful kingdom became a land of gloom and fear. You’ll need to pay close attention to the story as it unfolds because you’ll get to make the ultimate decision of how this story ends. Will you succeed in helping Lars to live happily ever after, or is he doomed forever?

Game features:

  • – Solve clever puzzles to help Lars rescue his little sister
  • – Enjoy narrative-focused, accessible gameplay suitable for newcomers and veterans alike
  • – Explore a magical kingdom inspired by the legends of Central European oral tradition, once compiled by the Grimm Brothers, where magic creatures try to coexist peacefully with mankind — and sometimes, even protect them from evil forces.
  • – Feel the gloomy essence of this creepy tale through its decadent cartoonish art style.

A new entry into the Creepy Tale series, Creepy Tale 2 was previously released on PC and Nintendo Switch back in 2021, and has been getting very positive reviews. It’s out now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 4.

If you’re a fan of point and click adventure games with a sprinkling of horror then Creepy Tale 2  is worth checking out. It’s available to buy and download on the PlayStation and Xbox Store for £11.99. If you buy on Xbox you can enjoy 25% off the price, taking it down to £9.59 for the next two weeks.

DLC Description:

An unknown force of evil began terrorizing a peaceful kingdom, kidnapping their children and the innocent inhabitants of the forest. What was once a peaceful kingdom where humans and fantastic creatures lived together in harmony became a land of gloom and fear. No one was free from misfortune and tragedy in those times — neither was Lars and his family. One day, two spooky guests visited his father’s cabin. Lars’s father was beaten to the brink of death, and his little sister Ellie fell under the visitors’ mind control magic and left with them.
