Pecaminosa is on Xbox, PC, Switch and PlayStation

Pecaminosa: A Deadly Hand is released today on Xbox, Steam, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation. The game stands out with its fusion of charming pixel art and the immersive mechanics of an action RPG, all set within the atmospheric backdrop of film noir.

Embrace the gritty realism of a city rife with sin

Step into the shoes of John Souza, a former detective navigating the treacherous streets of Pecaminosa, a border city teetering on the edge of lawlessness.

Corruption, gambling, and crime run rampant in its dusty alleys, offering refuge to those who exist outside the boundaries of morality.

As you delve deeper into this world, expect to confront the darkest facets of human nature. This is a place where alliances are fragile, and betrayal lurks around every corner.

Master the art of investigation and combat

In Pecaminosa: A Deadly Hand, survival hinges on your ability to navigate a city besieged by vice. Interrogate suspects, unravel tangled webs of deceit, and delve into the shadows to uncover the truth.

But when words fail, let your fists and guns do the talking.

Engage in visceral combat encounters that demand both skill and strategy, as you confront adversaries who will stop at nothing to protect their secrets.

Craft your own path through the L.I.F.E. system

No two journeys through Pecaminosa are alike, thanks to the dynamic L.I.F.E. system.

Customise your character’s appearance and equipment, then allocate experience points across four distinct parameters: Luck, Intelligence, Force, and Endurance. Whether you prefer a diplomatic approach or a more direct method of persuasion, the choices you make will shape your destiny in this unforgiving landscape.

New updated features

The game has previously been released on Steam, but this is a new version which features the original game plus La Soirée, an epilogue chapter that solves a few unfinished mysteries.

This new edition also features several other improvements:

  • Auto save prior to entering a boss fight room.
  • Improvements to the gamepad aiming: it will now remember the player’s last position when he starts to aim, aiming speed is enhanced and the distance of the crosshair will correctly depict the max bullet travel distance.
  • Implemented aim assist with gamepad.
  • Added the option to “toggle to aim”.
  • Improvements to the player movements, that is now a bit slower when moving diagonally.
  • Minimap optimization: now the store locations are marked on the minimap.
  • Overall improvement of the menus, for a more intuitive navigation.
  • General bug fixes of previously reported bugs.

Engage in a supernatural mystery with Pecaminosa: A Deadly Hand

With its blend of pixel art aesthetics, gripping narrative, and immersive gameplay mechanics, Pecaminosa: A Deadly Hand promises to offer a fresh take on the classic noir genre.

You can purchase the game for Xbox One and Xbox X|S at the Xbox Store where it is currently at a special price, reduced from the full price of £8.79.

The game is also available to play on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC Steam.

Pecaminosa A Deadly Hand Xbox Game description

Pecaminosa – A Deadly Hand blends the charm of pixel art and the mechanics of an Action RPG with the atmosphere of film noir. You have not seen and played anything like it. Interrogate suspects, explore a city dominated by crime and sin, and never hesitate to use your fists and guns. These are hard times in a very tough city.

Customize your character’s appearance and equipment and have it evolve through the L.I.F.E. system, distributing experience points into four different parameters: Luck, Intelligence, Force and Endurance. Play Blackjack to earn extra money, visit the liquor store, socialize with the scum, visit the police station and the brothel, in addition to other venues recreated with great graphic detail… and don’t trust anyone. There is a bullet with your name on it, and it’s eager to meet you.
