Another major expansion has made its way into the free-to-play MMORPG, Star Trek Online, and there’s no better way to celebrate the Victory is Life content than by giving away free stuff. So, we’ve teamed up with Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios to do just that. Now, who wants a code for a Leeta Tactical Bridge Officer?
Star Trek Online is a hugely popular MMORPG on Xbox One – and other platforms – that doesn’t cost a penny to play, and the Victory is Life expansion is now available. The update takes Captains on a journey to the Gamma Quadrant, where they will team up with crew members, which are instantly recognisable, from Deep Space Nine to battle the Hur’q. This includes the likes of Quark (Armin Shimerman), Odo (René Auberjonois), Kira (Nana Visitor) and plenty of other characters voiced by the actors who play the roles on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine TV show.
The photonic Leeta Tactical Bridge Officer will bring some much needed additional help for tackling missions. You’ll be able to choose from the Dabo outfit Leeta or the Mirror Admiral uniform Leeta, with the officer able to be commissioned by Starfleet or Klingon captains, whilst Romulan captains can only do so after they choose an ally faction at level 10. For this particular Bridge Officer, no additional customisation options are enabled though.
How do you get your hands on a code for a Leeta Tactical Bridge Officer? Well, it’s free to enter and Star Trek Online is free to download and play, so you’ve got nothing to lose. All you need to do to get hold of a code is follow and tweet us a message on Twitter, join our Facebook group and private message us, or pay our Facebook page a visit, giving it a like and then sending us a private message. Any of those processes will do, and feel free to spread the word about this giveaway.
Codes will be given out on a first come, first served basis, and we’ve got 50 to distribute.
To Redeem Your Code on Xbox One:
- Install Star Trek Online from the Xbox One marketplace.
- Upon launching Star Trek Online, you’ll have the option to link your gamertag with an Arc account. This will open the Internet browser on your Xbox One and you can complete the account linking process there. If you skip it now, you’ll have another opportunity later.
- Once you’re in Star Trek Online, select the Arc option.
- Install Arc. (You can also search for Arc in the Xbox One Marketplace)
- Launch Arc and hit the X button.
- Enter your code in the field and select “Redeem.”
- Visit the C-Store in-game. The Leeta Tactical Bridge Officer can be found on the “Promotions” tab.
- A notification will pop up, letting you know that you have five minutes to claim the item. At this time, please choose between Dabo Leeta and Mirror
- Please note that you will only be able to utilize one Leeta Tactical Bridge Officer at a time. If you wish to deploy a different Leeta Bridge Officer, you must delete this Leeta from your inventory to commission a new one.
Be aware that players must log into Star Trek Online with a Federation or Klingon character that has completed the tutorial to claim the Leeta Tactical Bridge Officer. The code can only be redeemed by one character on a single account. Codes expire December 31, 2020.
