Experience true terror all over again in Dead Space

-

Dead Space Xbox

I’m not afraid to admit this, but the original Dead Space scared me that much I couldn’t finish it. I won’t be alone in that either, of that I am very confident. Well, redemption appears in many forms, this time in the form of a full remake. It is time to put your big boy pants on as Dead Space is out today on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.

Dead Space once again puts you in the shoes of engineer Isaac Clarke. He is en route to the USG Ishimura when things start getting a little strange. The crew has been slaughtered and dismembered in horrific fashion, and his partner Nicole, who was stationed on the ship, is nowhere to be found.

Isaac must work his way through the ship to piece together what has happened. All whilst avoiding his own dismemberment by the Necromorphs that are skulking around the Ishimura. But how exactly did they get there and what went so terribly wrong here?

Dead Space is a full remake of the sci-fi horror classic with the same name, Dead Space, that released in 2008. It has been remade from the ground up with new visuals, sounds, gameplay improvements and a much more immersive experience. Isaac himself has also been given a voice for the first time in the first game. How that translates remains to be seen.

Dead Space is on the Xbox Store now for Xbox Series X|S priced at £69.99. There is also the Dead Space Digital Deluxe Edition for £79.99 that comes with three unique suits (Infested, Lone Survivor and Venture) and two suit textures (Sanctified and Bloody). Whichever version you pick up, good luck, and let us know in the comments below.
