Papetura is a tribute to those old-school puzzle adventure games and, more unusually, the craft of paper modelling – more about that later.
The story is based around two little paper creatures, Pape and Tura, whose paper paradise is in danger of being burnt down by ominous and flaming monsters. Together they pledge to fight this fiery foe and protect their precious paper world from incineration. Your job is to traverse this paper landscape, solve skill-based puzzles and ultimately save the world all while being fully immersed in a paper fantasy lulled by the atmospheric music.
What makes Papetura stand out from the crowd is that it is a true labour of love; its entire world and characters were meticulously hand-crafted out of paper by one man – Tomasz Ostafin.
