Times may be changing, but there will always be a place for a turn-based battler in this world. Step forward KEMCO with the latest addition to the Xbox One and Win10 digital library, Bonds of the Skies.

Available right now from the Xbox Store for Xbox One and that of Win10 PC is Bonds of the Skies, a delightful fantasy based RPG which deals with more than a smattering of turn-based battles.

Priced up at ÂŁ12.49, this Xbox Play Anywhere title sees disaster strike the coming of age ceremony of a young Eil, as his town is attacked by a demon and his life is engulfed in a ball of flames. After entering into discussion with the Air Grimoa, Nogard, the two set out to save the world, hunting down the demon and putting an end to the violence.

If that story sounds like something you’d get interest from, then Bonds of the Skies on Xbox One and Win10 should be something for you. With a classic turn-based fighting system in play, a Synchro Gauge that allows the unleashing of huge skills, and a variety of quests to complete, it certainly seems as if KEMCO have delivered once again, with them following up on the success of the likes of Alvastia Chronicles and Asdivine Hearts II.

The epic adventure of Bonds of the Skies awaits anyone who wishes to partake. Will that be you? The Xbox Store should be visited asap.

It is that same store which will also allow access to a multitude of little extras for Bonds of the Skies too, with Damage x2 (ÂŁ4.19), No Encounters (ÂŁ1.69), Full Restore (ÂŁ3.29) and Experience x3 (ÂŁ4.19), all helping to make your life a little easier.

Game Description:

Times are changing, and the existence of the Grimoas has become less relevant in everyday life. The young Eil is in the middle of his Coming-of-Age ceremony when suddenly his town is attacked by a demon and engulfed in flames. In the midst of this confusion, Eil enters into a pact with the Air Grimoa, Nogard, in order to save everyone. Eil and Nogard set off to look for the demon who cast the town into a sea of flames, and to find other Grimoas in order to put a stop to its violence! The game features classic turn-based battles, with a Synchro Gauge system which lets you unleash powerful skills when synchronized with the Grimoas. A wide range of achievements, including quests to complete and items to collect, await you during this epic adventure!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
