Lion Castle and Team6 Game Studios have teamed up to deliver Taxi Chaos, a real throwback that’s inspired by the aforementioned games most of us were probably addicted to at one stage. It’s a modern take on the taxi experiences of yesteryear, with wannabe cabbies cruising the streets of New Yellow City for fares in order to bring in the dosh for either Vinnie or Cleo – the main protagonists. Speed is of the essence, hence you must rush to pick customers up and arrive at their chosen destination as fast as possible.
There are three modes on offer in Taxi Chaos: the classic Arcade Mode, the more chilled out Freeroam, and for those wanting a real test there’s also a Pro Mode. Whichever you settle down to enjoy, you can expect to come into contact with some truly strange characters and have fully voiced conversations – often funny – during the journey. We’re talking about chatting to the likes of a rockstar, an alien, a hipster, and many other interesting folk. As if it’s not distracting enough as you’re attempting to smash through fire hydrants, street lamps and anything else that gets in your way.
“It has been two decades since we saw a new game focused on the adventures and excitement of being a taxi driver. With Taxi Chaos, we set out to create a throw-back dedicated to the amazing and memorable classics”, said Jorden Stocx, Lead Game Designer of Taxi Chaos. “Of course, this is not a direct sequel to the classics, however, we hope that players will welcome Taxi Chaos as a fun and fresh take on this long-lost genre.”
“The enthusiasm and replies all over the world have been overwhelming since the announcement of our title. This has motivated the team to improve the game even more, by adding new music, extra citizens, and tons of other updates in a patch”, said Ronnie Nelis, CEO of Lion Castle.
