It originally hit PC back in 2015, but Feist has now made its way to consoles. Want to get involved in a beautifully handcrafted adventure?

Available to download right now from the Xbox Games Store (and the PS4 equivalent), Feist tells the tale of a little fur creature as he desperately tried to save his mate from a pack of predators. You’ll be taken into the heart of a mysterious forest attempting to survive the deadly, but mesmerising environment.

Created by Bits & Beasts, an indie developer from Switzerland, Feist promises to be a unique but utterly savage experience. If the success it has garnered on PC is anything to go by, then we should expect something lovely to come the way of our Xbox Ones and PS4’s.

We’ll have our full review up very shortly, so keep an eye out for it, but for now, get yourself over to the Xbox Games Store and spend the ÂŁ7.99 required.

Game Description:

A desperate, savage survival experience full of stunning visuals, dynamic creatures, and a haunting soundtrack. Follow strange beasts through lonely forests, hazardous mountains, dark caves, and glowing swamps. Watch out for dangerous creatures that react to your movements and decisions, and cleverly concealed traps that will test your ability to survive. Over six years in the making, FEIST is a gorgeous hand-made adventure unlike anything else, with a cinematic presentation reminiscent of The Dark Crystal or Hedgehog in the Fog, and a tense original soundtrack by Tomek Kolczynski.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
