FIFA Ultimate Team Team of the Week (TOTW) – February 5th

-

Each week EA Sports creates a FIFA Ultimate Team Team of the Week (TOTW) based on players in the real world that are in form for that week. Take a look at the team that will be available for one week from 5th February at 6pm (UK time).

Charlie Adam probably didn’t expect to have a good day when reigning Premier League champions Man Utd came to Stoke. Fortunately for him he bagged a brace to secure a 2-1 win for the Potters. His first was never troubling the keeper until a wicked deflection ensured it went in; his second was goal-bound the minute it left his foot. Adam deserved a spot this week for such a wonderful strike alone.

Alex “The Ox” Oxlade-Chamberlain found himself in an unfamiliar role at CM/CDM again Palace. Nevertheless he stole the show with his two goals, one of which was a delightful touch and dink over Speroni. Performances like that not only get him noticed by EA Sports but no doubt also the England manager.

Kevin Nolan surprisingly only makes the bench for two goals that could be crucial in the relegation battle. He fed off Andy Carroll knockdowns to put the ball in the net both times, these two have a real chemistry together. The victory for the Hammers has ultimately cost the Swansea manager his job, hope Mr Laudrup doesn’t get an IF Nolan to haunt him.

What do you make of the choices? Anyone you think deserved a place? I’m very shocked Chelsea’s new signing Nemanja Matic didn’t make the cut after a dominating performance to outshine Yaya Toure. Feel free to send us your thoughts on Twitter @TheXboxHub
