Looking for an intense side-scrolling platformer for either Xbox 360 or Xbox One? You’ll want to check Strider out then.

A retelling of the late 80’s NES title, Hiryu returns in Strider on February 19th, in an attempt to eliminate Grand Master Meio, the ruler of an alternate dystopian future Earth.

A side scrolling action platformer, you’ll find Hiryu jumping, climbing and running through an expansive game world whilst using an arsenal of moves and weapons to take out the oncoming enemies ranging from cybernetic soldiers to immense bio-mechanical creatures.

You’ll also be able to call on Hiryu’s friends, the Eagle and Satellite Bots to provide backup and access to those out of reach areas.

Strider will be released on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One on 19th February.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
