Want retro? Want darkness? Want horror? Want first person shooting? Forgive Me Father is the game to provide all that – and more. 

Available right this second on Xbox, Forgive Me Father comes about via the Byte Barrel team as they push on from a previous Steam release to launch on console. And yes, you’ll be able to find this one on the stores of PlayStation and Nintendo Switch too.

Dip in and you’ll discover a world of utter madness. Forgive Me Father thrusts you in to a comic-book styled world. It’s just that this is one that has been inspired by the likes of H.P. Lovecraft and more. What awaits? Well, other than horror and a whole ton of FPS action? Forgive me Father works in a Madness level and a multitude of secrets. 

There’s certainly the usual FPS tropes on display here. But alongside that are a variety of other ideas. It’s up to you to dictate how your equipment and gear evolves, for instance. Whilst a whole world of diversity awaits anyone looking to go deep.

Throw in a development tree and a story that cane be taken in through a number of perspectives, and it won’t take long for the magic of Forgive Me Father to start embedding itself in you.
