dying light left 4 dead

The brilliance of Dying Light has continued to stay high over the years, with 2015’s zombie-fuelled action survival experience still managing to stay relevant nearly 5 years on. Much of that has been due to Techland’s persistence in continuing to push content drops on a fairly regular basis – much like that which has now arrived, delivering some iconic Left 4 Dead weapons into the game for free.

Available to download into your Dying Light experience right now are three weapons that have previously been limited to Left 4 Dead 2, with Techland throwing them in for free.

If you have previously enjoyed using the Electric Guitar, the Frying Pan or the Golf Club in Left 4 Dead 2, and have always considered that they’d be well placed to beat back the masses in Dying Light, then the opportunity is now in place.

Ahead of the launch of Dying Light 2, all you need to do to gain access is to hit up your usual digital store – the Xbox Store for Xbox One is as good a place as any to start – and this will reward you with Dying Light blueprints, letting you then craft the guitar, the pan and the golf club.

For free it’s all a bit good and we urge you to add these new weapons into your Dying Light world at the very earliest opportunity. In fact, we see absolutely no reason why you wouldn’t want to do so. Let us know what you think though – the comments section is down below.

DLC Description:

‘As a homage to Valve’s magnificent co-op zombie shooter, we recreated three iconic Left 4 Dead 2 weapons in Dying Light. We want all of you to be able to enjoy them, so you don’t need to spend a penny to lay your hands on them. Just download the free DLC and you will receive three new blueprints, letting you craft Electric Guitar, Frying Pan, and Golf Club right away. Get the Left 4 Dead 2 weapons pack now and have fun delivering crushing riffs, serving killer dishes, and improving your golf swings!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
