It’s only been a few weeks since the latest battle for supremacy between the Plants and Zombies has really ramped up in intensity, but today we see both sides get hands-on with some new gear, with the Season’s Eatingz content providing some festive cheer.
Available as a DLC drop for the base Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, the Season’s Eatingz content pack will set you back £9.99, but will see the addition of four new pieces of fun, with new costumes, victory slabs and punchers put in place.
This will mean that no matter whether you side with Team Plant, or prefer the Zombie way of life, new costumes will be coming your way with the delightful Kernel Corn taking on a super rare presence with the Wrapping Corn costume, and Electric Slide from the other team gaining access to the similarly super rare Downhill-Jingle Slide costume. She certainly looks pretty neat in that kit too.
Further to those and a new festive themed Victory Slab and Punchers are present, letting those you vanquish know exactly what has hit them.
And whilst this festive content should certainly be something current players of Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville on Xbox One, PS4 and PC should consider adding to their game, those who haven’t yet opened the wallet to get in on the action will find a full Season’s Eatingz Edition of the game also in place. This package contains not just the base game, but the new content in one, provided from the Xbox Store for £44.99. Why you would want to run that course of action is a strange one though and it would have been nice to see a little discount put in place for the full package, rather than seeing a similar price in place to purchasing the base game and the content separately.
Thankfully those who have a valid EA Access subscription in place will however find the usual 10% discount in place – that in itself will take the bundle down to £40.49 and the new DLC alone provided for £8.99.
If you wish to know more about Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville on Xbox One, PS4 or PC, perhaps considering it as an upgrade over the age-old battle found in Garden Warfare 2, then make sure you check out our review of the game. It should let you know all the juiciest details, and whether or not this latest fight is one you should be taking in.
