Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator is on Xbox, PlayStation and PC

Fancy settling down for some green fingered fun times? Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator is now available on Xbox, PlayStation and PC. It’s coming to Nintendo Switch very soon too.

From NACON and stillalive studios, Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator is an uber relaxing gardening game. It’s one that will allow you the chance to get the greenest of fingers. And if that doesn’t sell it, the opportunity to do that pruning in a gloriously vibrant world, full of creativity and floral decoration, should.

On Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator is priced at £34.99 for the Standard Edition. There’s a Garden Party Edition too for an extra £5, adding in the Garden Party Pack (£6.99 individually) for good measure.

Create the garden of your dreams

In Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator you’ll be left to create the gardens of your dreams. You’ll be able to plant a whole range of flora, turning desolate plots into the most magical of gardens. It’s those flowers and plants that are the star too, with more than 120 plants and 245 different ornaments to discover. Cozy? Most definitely.

There are also a couple of game modes that you can get involved in. The Story mode is probably going to be the first port of call, as you take over a community garden that has previously been left to ruin. How you go about revitalising that place will be up to you.

Further is the Creative mode. Free rein is yours here, zero restrictions needing to be worried about. In fact, Creative will give you full access to all the tools, plants, structures and items from the get-go.

Key features

  • Garden at your own pace as you get to grips with the tools, and transform an abandoned plot into a flourishing community garden
  • Enhance your garden over time using various types of structures, such as the greenhouse to protect your young plants from pests, and provide optimal conditions for growth
  • Use your craft table to make ornaments or put together bouquets that you can sell in the village square
  • Help out your fellow villagers in Story mode by meeting their requests, and earning various rewards with which you can further enhance your garden
  • Let your creativity run free in Creative mode, to create the garden of your dreams and immortalise it using Photo mode
