GamesAid Charity Sale 2024 is live

We see game sales pop up left, right and centre, allowing gamers the chance to grab some great games at various cut prices. But the GamesAid Charity Video Game Sale is different, as it helps raise funds for young people across the UK. 

Available right now on Steam is the GamesAid Charity Video Game Sale. It runs until Sunday 26th February 2024 as a massive 18 games and 14 DLC packs are discounted, all in hope of supporting the UK games industry charity GamesAid

Included are some cracking games too – OlliOlli World, Farming Simulator 2022, Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, Little Orpheus and more are all included, made cheaper than ever. 

What games are on offer?

Multiple causes will get help

And what causes are set to receive donations from the Steam sale? They include…

  • Access Sport – A charity based in London which increases young people’s access to community sport to improve their life prospects.
  • AFK – A cause which supports disabled children and young people by providing mobility equipment, employment support, training and promoting self-advocacy.
  • Autistica – A charity which funds and campaigns for research to understand autism, improve diagnosis, and develop evidence-based interventions.
  • Game Therapy UK – An initiative providing innovative, evidence-based therapeutic games (“Dungeons and Dragons Therapy”) to groups at risk of social isolation – including neurodiverse communities.
  • Solving Kids’ Cancer – A dedicated children’s cancer charity with children and families firmly at its heart, which focuses on fighting a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer called neuroblastoma.

We hope the initiative will bring in a rich harvest and supports as many children as possible!”

Michiel Kroder, Co-Founder and Lead Game Designer, HitP Studio said: “GamesAid does important work in supporting various charities that help children in need and we are honoured that our game Schildmaid MX is a part of their Steam Sale.”

Ng Aik Sern, Founder, Passion Republic said: “GigaBash joins the GamesAid charity sale, channeling the empowerment of Kaiju fantasy to uplift disadvantaged and disabled children and young people to ensure every player finds strength and joy in our shared gaming community.”

Alison Fraser, Publishing Commercial Director, Secret Mode said: “Charity contribution is an integral strand to Secret Mode so we are delighted to participate in the GamesAid sale that benefits small charities, supporting young and disadvantaged people across the UK.”

The sale has also been supported by Diva Agency, YRS TRULY, Bastion and Loading Bar.

The GamesAid Steam Sale goes live

The GamesAid Steam Sale page is live until Sunday 26th February at 11PM GMT / 3PM PST here: https://store.steampowered.com/sale/GamesAidCharitySale2024

Further, GamesAid is also hosting a livestream on Thursday 22nd February at 5PM GMT / ​9AM PT. This will see Shay Thompson bring together a range of fantastic creators to play the brilliant games going on sale this weekend on the charity’s Twitch channel at www.twitch.tv/games_aid.
