Get green fingers once more with Gnomes Garden 2 on Xbox One

-

2026's Best Games

It’s most definitely been a strange launch process for the Gnomes Garden series of games on Xbox One, with the third game arriving first, the initial series opener dropping next and now Gnomes Garden 2 finally arriving to complete the set. But hey, when you’re delivering games at super cheap prices, who are we to complain!?

Available on Xbox One right now is Gnomes Garden 2, the sequel to Gnomes Garden from a month or so again, and precursor to Gnomes Garden 3 from way back in July.

Priced up at ÂŁ3.99, Gnomes Garden 2 is certainly a nice and cheap way of getting a new gaming experience and if you have been taken in by either of the other two games, and want to find out how the middle section of the tale unfolds, then now is your opportunity.

As you may expect, Gnomes Garden 2 follows on from the original game to see the wicked queen of the trolls return to kidnap the princess of the gnomes, whisking her off to a mysterious new kingdom. From here you’ll get to take in 40 unique levels with some of the most simple gameplay ideas you’ll ever come across, a variety of quest types and, and I quote, ‘an upbeat plot’.

Want to know if all those things come together with the ÂŁ3.99 price tag to deliver something special? Well, the Xbox Store will let you in on the secrets of Gnomes Garden 2. Go and pay it a little visit.

Game Description:

The wicked queen of the trolls has returned from banishment! Using her evil magic, she has kidnapped the princess of the gnomes and taken her to a distant kingdom. In those lands, none know of the power of the magical gardens! The gnomish people who live there have suffered long at the hands of the queen of the trolls and her subjects. The princess decides to help her brothers and sisters and return the power of the magic trees. Key features: – A multitude of varied quests, – An upbeat plot, – Colorful trophies, – Over 40 unique levels, – An extraordinary universe, – Simple and entertaining gameplay.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
