Ask us a decade back and we’d not particularly care for the bean. But coffee culture has fast become a bit of an obsession – no more so than in the gaming world. Coffee, Plis releases on Xbox to help us continue with our fix.
We’re going to blame the brilliant Coffee Talk for feeding us with virtual coffee musings, but whatever the reason, coffee is big business. And it’s that which comes to the fore in Coffee, Plis – a fun little barista-themed coffee shop sim from Cube Games.
Get creating that coffee
Available right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, joining a previous drop on Nintendo Switch and some upcoming play on Steam, is Coffee, Plis. Priced at £8.79 from the Xbox Store this places you in the shoes of a barista attempting to get a handle on the orders of his customers. The problem is, it’s rush hour. And those coffees need to be made. Fast.
Developed by the Diverte Games team, Coffee, Plis looks to be a fun little addition to the whole time management genre that has come to the fore in recent years. Looking like a more simple version of something like Overcooked!, in Coffee, Plis you’ll need to be on your toes, creating coffees, keeping customers happy, ensuring that your cafe is the best it can possible be.
Of course, as things get busy, the tension wil ramp up, the intensity will build. How will you handle your coffee fix?
Buy now!
You’ll find Coffee, Plis on the Xbox Store. It’s playable across Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Pick it up on Nintendo Switch if you like.
Let us know how your barista work goes by dropping into the comments. We’ll have a cortado, thanks.
