Love a bit of pulp action survival horror? The bullet hell fun of Outer Terror brings that to Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

From VoxPop Games and Ratalaika Games, Outer Terror releases on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, fully optimised for Series consoles. It’s also present on Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PS5 should you well prefer.

Blood, guts and horde-based shooting

Playing out as a horde-based shooter, the blood and guts on display in Outer Terror looks to be second to none. And when you consider that all comes about via a huge array of weaponry, it gets all the more exciting.

Your goal in Outer Terror is to blast your way to survival. Endless waves of the most grotesque of cosmic creatures will be in your way though, all inspired and running homage to the B-movies of yesteryear and the horror comics of decades gone by.

Playable as a solo adventurer or with others via cooperative play, working through Outer Terror won’t be easy. But with five chapters to enjoy, ten playable characters with various skills and weapons to harness, you can be sure that many a bullet will be fired. And each stage will play host to numerous secrets too; treasures, boss encounters and more.

Key features

  • Battle, Loot and Explore – Discover other treasures and hidden items as you explore each massive map. This may lead to boss encounters and otherworldly abominations.

  • Don’t Die! – Each volume of Outer Terror is packed with hordes of enemies set on ending your run, whether it be a vampiric zombie polar bear, the mangled remains of a pet bunny rabbit, or a pack of sentient toasters.

“With Outer Terror coming to home consoles, it is a true testament to the power of the entire VoxPop Platform,” said Charles Fang Yu, Founder & CEO of VoxPop Games, Inc. ”our middleware toolset offers new independent game developers a pathway to publish their games. Outer Terror is the proof point, we are thankful for the efforts of the entire Ratalaika Games team bringing this game to consoles and we cannot wait to explore all of the fantastic new partnerships this will bring.”
