Back in June of 2017, a wonderful little adventure began to emerge. Following the journey of Tilo, a courageous little mouse attempting a perilous quest, the beginnings of Ghost of a Tale were set thanks to a stint in Xbox Game Preview. Now though, a couple of years later, we are finally seeing the full tale unfold, as Ghost of a Tale comes out of Preview to launch fully on Xbox One and PS4.

Already having dropped on PC, one year on we see the release of the full showing of Ghost of a Tale on Xbox One and PS4, as SeithCG push on this delightful tale.

This means we will now have the opportunity to head into this medieval world full of animals. Taking on the role of a little mouse as he goes up against all manner of dangers, the exploration of both towers and dungeons will be taken in, with the need to utilise the little mouse’s stealth, agility and disguise skills essential.

As you may expect, Ghost of a Tale has come a long way since the initial Preview release – you can read our thoughts surrounding that here – and now as the full drop takes hold, the experience found by falling into the life of Tilo should be an altogether greater one. A set 30fps on all consoles is promised, whilst further improved textures and higher resolution will be in place for those playing on Xbox One X and PS4 Pro.

Should you wish to find out more then the Xbox Store or PlayStation Store will let you in on all the secrets of Ghost of a Tale. Obviously if you previously purchased the game via Game Preview, then you’ll already be set, but otherwise a £15.99 price tag will need to be considered.

Make sure you keep an eye out for our full review too.

Game Description:

Ghost of a Tale is an action-RPG adventure, set in a medieval world populated only by animals. You play as Tilo, a courageous minstrel mouse on a perilous quest to escape the jails of Dwindling Heights Keep and discover the fate of his true love Merra. Armed with a mouse’s talent for stealth, agility and disguise – and a love of music – you’ll explore the towers and dungeons of the keep, navigating its dangers and discovering its secrets. Dwindling Heights is a dangerous place for a little mouse, and Tilo’s not much of a fighter. When confronted with enemies twice your size, nimbleness and guile are your allies. Talk to the characters you meet – make enemies and allies – and leave no stone unturned in your quest to find Merra. About the team: Ghost of a Tale is developed by a very small team. Lionel “Seith” Gallat creates 90% of the art, design and coding. Paul Gardner is the game’s writer and an experienced game designer. Cyrille Paulhiac does coding and develops tools. Jeremiah Pena is the game’s composer, while Nicolas Titeux is responsible for sound design.
