Amabilly is on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch

Love yourself a bit of rock ‘n’ roll? You’re going to adore Amabilly as it releases on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

Available right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S is Amabilly. It’s fully optimised for the Series consoles, and is available on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch too.

A rock ‘n’ roll platformer

Priced at £4.99, Amabilly is the latest release to come from the prolific Ratalaika Games team. It’s they who have taken the creation of the lightUP team to the masses. It looks to be a pretty neat platformer too.

In Amabilly you’ll get the chance to take on the role of the titular character. Amabilly is a girl who absolutely adores her music, especially that of rock ‘n’ roll. So when she discovers her world is under threat, there’s only one thing for it – to grab her favourite guitar and riff her way though a strange and hostile land.

In Amabilly you’ll be left to utilise the guitar to the best of your abilities. With more than a hundred levels in place, retro visuals and – obviously – some rock ‘n’ roll tunes, we’re very much looking forward to getting hands-on with this one. Stay tuned for our review.

Key game features before buying now!

  • Explore 101 levels

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
