Seven years later and HAMSTER CORPORATION have decided to release a fully optimised Xbox Series X|S version of ACA2NEOGEO THE KING OF FIGHTERS ’98. Expect the same game here that released in 2018, just with a bit of a visual overhaul for Series X|S.

2017 was the year of the NEOGEO port, with a huge number of titles from years gone by making their way to the Xbox One library. One of the most frequent and popular additions were the King of Fighters games, with numerous entries popping up. Now though, we are here in 2018 and the NEO games are still dropping, with ACA NEOGEO King of Fighters ’98 the latest to hit.
Available right now on Xbox One, ACA NEOGEO King of Fighters ’98 is the fifth KOF game to arrive on Xbox One. First released back in 1998 (obviously), this next installment in the series was created as a dream match for the KOF series.
With leaderboards now in place, and the option to mix up the games’ difficulty, if you wish to take in what was known as one of the better King of Fighters titles, then you can do so. Considerable balance changes ensured that this was the go-to KOF fighter for the late ’90s.
