We’ll admit we didn’t initially understand the draw that Lawn Mowing Simulator would be able to provide. But since the initial announcement back in March, we’ve fast come round to the idea – and it seems like that enthusiasm has stretched across the entire gaming community. It’s with great pleasure then that we can now confirm the full release date for Curve Digital and Skyhook Games’ lawn mowing simulator, with it due to drop onto Xbox Series X|S and PC in August.

It’ll be August 10th 2021 when Lawn Mowing Simulator begins to mow its way to Xbox and PC, giving gamers the chance to explore the great British countryside with an authentically satisfying Lawn Mowing Simulator; one that just so happens to come with a detailed business management side of it too.

David Harper, Co-founder of Skyhook Games said: “We can’t wait for players to get down to mowing this August. After a very successful game demo in June which had over 250,000 downloads, we’re really excited for players to experience Lawn Mowing Simulator in all its glory, creating their very own virtual lawn care business, manicuring lawns to perfection and just enjoying the general satisfaction of the lawn mowing experience.”

Michael Fisher, Product Manager at Curve Digital added: “Skyhook Games have done such a brilliant job creating a beautiful and realistic lawn mowing experience, and we can’t wait for players to jump in and experience it for themselves.”

When it does arrive, Lawn Mowing Simulator will allow you the chance to experience the beauty and detail of mowing the Great British countryside, coming to market as the only simulator that allows you to ride a genuine and expansive roster of real-world licensed lawn mowers from prestigious manufacturers. You should expect to see the likes of Toro, SCAG and STIGA in place as you manage your mowing business.

Throw in a multitude of game modes too – a Career, Free Mode and Challenge mode will all be present – plus the option to cut the grass how you see fit, and this could well be the ultimate grass cutting simulator.

Lawn Mowing Simulator on Xbox Series X|S and PC will feature:

  • PHYSICALLY AUTHENTIC LAWN MOWING EXPERIENCE – Execute ground checks, set your blade height, and measure your engine load as you complete a variety of contracts across Career Mode, Free Mode or Challenge Mode. Take your mowing to further heights with several attachments from stripe rollers, mulching kits, grass collectors, recyclers, flail decks and more.
  • BEAUTIFUL RURAL BRITISH COUNTRYSIDE – Lawn Mowing Simulator is set in a beautiful British countryside town. Busy residential streets, vast castle grounds, quaint cottage greens, and large equestrian fields are just some of the locations that await your mowing blades.
  • REAL WORLD LICENSED MOWER MANUFACTURERS - Toro, SCAG and STIGA front line Lawn Mowing Simulator with their real-world machines painstakingly recreated visually and physically. 12 Mowers are available in the base game, each with their own challenges, attachments and upgrades to pursue.
  • ACCURATE AND ATTENTIVE BUSINESS MANAGEMENT - Build your own lawn care business from the ground up. Purchase and upgrade your headquarters, hire employees, purchase advertising and balance the books as you grow and expand your business.

We’ll be sure to remind you when Lawn Mowing Simulator arrives on Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam come August 10th 2021. You should expect to pay around £24.99 / €29.99 / $29.99 for the lawn mowing privilege. Before that time though, check out the latest trailer.
