Need some safe hands? Gianluigi Buffon takes up sticks in FIFA 22’s TOTW #7

Another week goes by and once again footballing superstars across the globe have been ensuring their fans have had something to shout about. But it’s not just the real-world where these guys come to the fore, as with FIFA 22 and the Team of Week, EA happily bring together the finest performances of the week, delivering special cards for Ultimate Team managers to fight over. FIFA 22 Team of the Week (TOTW) #7 is no different, with the likes of Gigi Buffon (yep, he’s still rocking it) and Reece James holding down spots.

In fact, TOTW #7 is full of some serious names. We’ve got the veteran in sticks with Gianluigi Buffon still proving that he has it, whilst Chelsea’s Reece James is obviously determined to show that whatever Ben Chilwell can do on one flank, he can do on the other. There’s also a space for Rangers’ James Tavernier, whilst we think it’s another keeper who deserves a little look – Aaron Ramsdale has been superb. Of course, if you’re looking for goals, Aleksandar Mitrović is continuing to dominate the Championship. It’s just when he steps up that the struggles come. 

You’ll be able to add all of these players into your Ultimate Team by heading to FIFA 22 and getting in on the usual action. You’ve got a week or so to ensure you make the most of them, after which TOTW #8 will take centre stage.
