HITMAN 3 from IO Interactive will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Google Stadia and PC in the new year, promising to give fans of Agent 47 a whole new world to play around in, causing death and destruction as they go. Today, a new trailer releases and in it we get to see a first insight into the new features which will be present, along with some old time favourites that are sure to get the juices of the most hardcore assassin flowing.

The latest HITMAN 3 trailer shows off some of the in-game footage from the game, all delivered in stunning 4K with 60 fps gameplay. In it comes footage ripped straight out of the Dubai, Dartmoor and Chongqing locations, providing us a chance to get eyes on with the new gameplay opportunities that are due to be included in the series’ signature living, breathing sandbox locations.

This new trailer introduces fresh gameplay opportunities, the return of fan-favourite features and a full overview of the gameplay concepts and scenarios that players will experience when the game launches on January 20th 2021.

HITMAN 3 will be powered by IO Interactive’s proprietary Glacier engine, and this should put you in full control of Agent 47’s deadly abilities, his razor-sharp instincts and, best of all, the entire arsenal of weapons and tools that you can use to master the art of assassination. You’ll also be able to get to grips with a new camera that can open locks, and spend time analysing your performance with the return of post-mission Playstyles that are awarded based on how you complete missions.

With the next-gen version of HITMAN 3 supporting 4k visuals, 60 fps, HDR and faster loading times, along with the ability to bring refinements to interaction animation and AI, AND having the power to deliver up to 300 NPCs in a location at once, this should well be the best HITMAN experience yet. And when you consider how good the latest game – HITMAN 2 – was, that’s some going.

Further still though, HITMAN 3 players can import locations from the previous games in the trilogy and have more than 20+ locations under one roof. All of the improvements to rendering, animation and AI introduced with HITMAN 3 can be enjoyed across all three games too, making HITMAN 3 the ultimate place to play the entire World of Assassination trilogy.

And finally, if you’re a VR head, HITMAN 3 will also support PlayStation VR at launch in January 2021 – but it won’t just be the HITMAN 3 locations that are supported – every location from the World of Assassination trilogy can be enjoyed in VR when you play them through HITMAN 3.

Check out the trailer below and then hold tight for launch of HITMAN 3 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Google Stadia and PC in January 2021. You can pre-order it from the Xbox Store right now should you wish – there are both Standard and Deluxe editions available.
