War is coming to the world of Xbox this week, with armies of Orcs, trolls, and the worst of the bunch, Nazis, all featuring in the games due for release. So, prepare for battle and let’s take a look at what new games are ‘In Stores This Week’ for Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War – 10th October – Xbox One

Return to the open world RPG action of Middle-earth for the sequel, Shadow of War, which sees returning protagonist Talion tasked with building an army and forging a new Ring of Power in an attempt to stop Sauron once and for all. Approach the creatures, beasts and monsters in your path stealthily, or just go for it with a large variety of lethal moves. This time there are new regions, bigger environments and a shed load of Orc tribes, each with their own cultural differences. Even the Nemesis System has evolved to incorporate everything the world has to offer and that includes the new Followers, who bring fresh tales of loyalty, betrayal and revenge. Are you going to put an end to that bloody Dark Lord Sauron?

Been gaming casually since the SNES as a youngster but found my true passion for games on the Playstation 1 (the forbidden word ooo). My addiction grew to its pinnacle with the purchase of an Xbox 360 & Xbox Live Service. A recovering GS hunter that will still play literally any game.
